SEGMENT: Violence against Women and Girls in Iraq

Sarah Chynoweth, reproductive health program manager, was interviewed for a segment on gender-based violence on Iraq. She emphasized that Iraqi women and girls are being specifically targeted for violence, not as a by-product of war, but as a strategy to demoralize, destroy and intimidate.
