Immigrant Families Face Stress of Detention

Tell Me More, April 10, 2008 · A new film, Under The Same Moon, follows a young Mexican boy who ends up in an U.S. immigration detention facility. Though his journey is fictional, his experience is a reality for many immigrants. Lorena Castro, who spent two years in a detention facility, tells her story. And Michelle Brane, a refugee rights activist, discusses the American immigration detention system.
