    Communications Intern

The Women's Refugee Commission advocates for laws, policies and programs to improve the lives and protect the rights of refugee and internally displaced women, children and young people—bringing about lasting, measurable change.

The Women’s Refugee Commission was established in 1989 to address the particular needs of refugee and displaced women and children. The Women's Refugee Commission is affiliated with and is legally part of the International Rescue Committee, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. It does not receive direct financial support from the IRC.

The intern will provide overall support to the Women's Refugee Commission’s communications department. The internship is a great opportunity to work closely with professional communications staff, develop strategic communications skills and learn about the humanitarian field.
