    The Inter-agency Working Group (IAWG) on Reproductive Health (RH) in Crises is a broad-based, highly collaborative coalition with a 20-member agency steering committee representing United Nations, government, non-governmental, research, and donor organizations. Formed in 1995, and currently a network of over 2,700 individual members from 450 agencies, IAWG remains committed to expanding and strengthening access to quality sexual and RH (SRH) services for people affected by conflict and natural disaster. The IAWG’s collaborative network is an essential platform for sharing lessons learned, conducting advocacy, implementing shared research agendas, and establishing standards and guidelines for the provision of SRH services in emergencies. 

    Scope of Work

    Seeking a Digital Media Manager to manage all aspects of IAWG’s online communications including website, listserv, and social media channels. In collaboration with the IAWG Coordinator, s/he will help develop and implement IAWG’s overall online strategy with the end goal of establishing www.iawg.netas the go-to hub for all SRH in humanitarian crises -related resources, and strengthening our digital presence.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Manage and regularly update IAWG’s website, including the IAWG Training Partnership microsite, and the online platform for the Inter-Agency Field Manual and all related interactive training materials.
    • Track all digital media engagement, prepare weekly digital media metrics report.
    • Manage consultants and vendors during the redesign of IAWG website and as needed for other projects TBD;
    • Monitor trends in website, social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
    • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of website, social media campaigns and activity. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of initiatives/features in an effort to maximize results.
    • Manage IAWG listserv.
    • Design and develop graphic design projects including reports, flyers, one-pagers, and other collateral, as needed.
    • Improve the website to be a more user-friendly resource through contributing to and implementing an online strategy.

    Other Skills and Attributes:

    • Demonstrated proficiency with HTML required.
    • Experience sourcing and managing content development and digital publishing/CMS, familiarity with Joomla a plus.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO and Google Analytics.
    • Ability to translate academic/technical language into human-readable content suited for digital media platforms.
    • Strong eye for design and visual language, understands the importance of visual communications given the at-times sensitive nature of issues that IAWG engages in.
    • Solid understanding and proficiency with social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be strategically deployed to engage a variety of audiences.
