Gender Audit of Reconstruction Programs in South Eastern Europe
PublishedThe Urgent Action Fund (UAF) has supported at least 23 interventions by women in support of the
human rights of women and girls in 16 conflict areas in various regions of the world. With the support
from the Ford Foundation, and in partnership with the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development (ICHRDD) and the Women’s Refugee Commission, the UAF launched an initiative to strengthen the role of women in building a coherent, gender sensitive policy for human rights and democratic development throughout South Eastern Europe.
