It’s DAF Day 2025—a nationwide celebration of generosity through Donor-Advised Funds. When you make a DAF gift to Women’s Refugee Commission today, you’re helping us to improve the lives and protect the rights of women, children, and youth displaced by conflict and crisis.
A DAF is a giving account that a donor establishes with a 501(c)(3) public charity, so that the nonprofit organization can manage and administer charitable contributions on the donor’s behalf. It allows donors to receive an immediate tax deduction for their contributions, while giving them the freedom to recommend grants from the fund over time.
One of the most impactful and easy ways that you can support WRC’s work is by making a grant recommendation through your DAF. To do so, simply contact your DAF sponsor with a request to distribute funds from your account. Be sure that your name and address are included with your gift so we can recognize and thank you for your generosity. Or simply donate directly through our DAF online portal.
You might even consider setting up a recurring gift through the portal to conveniently ensure a monthly or other scheduled donation to WRC.
