Integrating Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights into Health System Strengthening in Humanitarian Settings
A planning workshop toolkit to transition from minimum to comprehensive services in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Bangladesh, and Yemen
This article in Conflict and Health was co-authored by Alison Greer, advisor at the Inter-Agency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crises (IAWG). IAWG is housed at the Women’s Refugee Commission.
The article aims to describe the design, piloting, and final product of a workshop toolkit for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) coordinators. The toolkit is designed to support effective planning and bridge a gap in the planning to transition from the Minimum Initial Service Package for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights toward comprehensive SRH services, which has been a challenge in humanitarian settings.
