104 Organizations From Across The Americas Condemn Title 42 Expansion, Sound Alarm Humanitarian Crisis
PublishedThe Women’s Refugee Commission joined 103 other partner organizations from across the Americas in condemning the Biden-Harris administration’s decision in the US to expand Title 42, hindering rightful access to asylum, and in calling the administration to take immediate action to remedy the humanitarian crises recklessly precipitated and exacerbated by this decision. The letter also urges all signatory countries of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection to carry out their commitment to “create the conditions for safe, orderly, humane, and regular migration and to strengthen frameworks for international protection and cooperation.”
