Community Letter on Gender Equality and Equality to the US President and Vice President

Women’s Refugee Commission joined dozens of organizations in a letter to US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to express their deep interest in advancing gender equality and equality globally and their appreciation for steps taken in the administration’s first 50 days to signal the United States’ renewed leadership on this issue.

In particular, the undersigned organizations are pleased to see early action on announcing the co-chairs of the new White House Gender Policy Council and were excited to see its official establishment by Executive Order on International Women’s Day.
