Happy new year! As we embark upon 2026, with all its challenges and opportunities, we would like to take a moment to convey our gratitude to you, the supporters and partners who power our work.
During our year-end campaign, we appealed to you to help fuel our groundbreaking research and advocacy for the rights, needs, and protection of women and girls displaced by conflict and crisis over the year ahead. We are thrilled to report that we have raised more than 80% of our ambitious $500,000 goal—upwards of $407,000 as of last count (with checks dated 12/31 still coming in).
This is a watershed moment for us, as it represents our most successful seasonal campaign total ever—and in tandem with a transformative multi-million dollar gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott in December—it places us on remarkably strong footing for 2026 and beyond.
Your support means that WRC will have more capacity, more resources, and more power to improve the well-being, the rights, and the self-determination of the refugee and migrant women and girls we serve.
