Asylum, Legal, and Human Rights

The rights of migrants and refugees to access legal protection, including asylum, due process, access to courts, and family unity, are under attack in the United States and around the world. Women, children, and families have been at the center of policies with the specific intent of limiting due process and the availability of legal pathways to reach safety. The Women’s Refugee Commission monitors border and migration policies, holds the government accountable, and advocates for smart solutions that uphold the rule of law, access to safety, and human rights.

#WelcomeWithDignity Campaign

The #WelcomeWithDignity Campaign for asylum rights is composed of more than 100 organizations committed to transforming the way the United States receives and protects people forced to flee their homes to ensure they are treated humanely and fairly.

The #WelcomeWithDignity Campaign is housed at the Women’s Refugee Commission.
