“Women in Gaza are not coping. They are living in hell.” WRC’s Sadia Kidwai spoke with France 24’s “The 51%” about the devastating toll of forced starvation and repeated displacement on women and girls in Gaza.

Sadia shared the testimonies WRC collected in a new report, which demonstrate the devastating toll famine and conflict is having on women and girls: “Women are overwhelmed by the trauma that they have carry,…by the anxiety, the fear, the grief of repeated forced displacements of forced starvation of being forced to witness their children starving to death, several told us they had witnessed their children being killed in front of them.”
