Parents deported from the US by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have revealed that families are being torn apart and pregnant detainees are being denied essential care, according to a new report.
Since Donald Trump started his second presidential term more than a year ago, his administration has pushed for stricter immigration policies across the nation.
As a result, parents, a lot of whom have American children, have been relocated back to their home countries without their kids – something that goes against the federal agency’s very own policies, a report from the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) and Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) found.
