WRC’s Director of Migrant Rights and Justice, Zain Lakhani, appeared on well-known immigration researcher and journalist Austin Kocher’s Substack for a live interview, in which she offered an overview of the findings and significance of a joint Women’s Refugee Commission / Physicians for Human Rights report on family separation and the medical neglect of pregnant women in detention. She also discussed what needs to happen to mitigate this rapidly unfolding crisis.
