Members of Congress and Refugee Organizations Commemorate 75 Years of the Refugee Convention with Call to Protect the Right to Seek Safety

Last week, WRC co-sponsored an event at Congress with other US organizations including Jesuit Refugee Service, HIAS, Human Rights First, and others, commemorating the 75^th anniversary of the UN Refugee Convention. The event was hosted by UNHCR and was a bipartisan and bicameral convening featuring remarks from Congressional leaders and stories from a panel of four impacted persons.
