You can make an impact on World Humanitarian Day

Today is World Humanitarian Day, an opportunity to reflect on the courageous service of people who devote their lives to protecting others. Please join us in celebrating humanitarians worldwide, including the staff of displacement camps for people fleeing conflict and disaster, researchers documenting the impact of gender-based violence programs and services on refugee women and girls, and advocates in the halls of power calling for safe pathways to asylum.

Our recent report co-authored with Refugees International, At What Cost, highlights the crucial work that women-led organizations (WLOs) in six countries are doing to safeguard lives and build refugee resilience, even as WLOs confront a profound funding crisis that challenges their capacity. Here in the US, WRC is working with partners to prevent family separation and reunify parents and children, as well as to document the condition of pregnant and lactating women in immigration detention via our Detention Pregnancy Tracker.

Please join us as a humanitarian partner, by donating to our work to amplify the voices of refugee and migrant women and girls.

Help us unlock a $200,000 match! A generous donor is matching the first $200,000 we raise this summer, one-to-one. Please consider making a monthly or one-time gift today to help us realize the full match and propel our work partnering with displaced women and girls. You can support us by:
