Coming Up at WRC: Save These Dates

Mark your calendars! Over the next several weeks, WRC will be publishing a wealth of resources as well as hosting a webinar you won’t want to miss:

• June 10, 2026 (tomorrow) – Explainer for Parents and Their Helpers Seeking Family Reunification:

This detailed resource, produced in collaboration with the country’s leading organizations working to prevent and respond to family separation, provides impacted populations with collated and clearly articulated information on how to protect family unity.

• Mid-June – Reconstructing Power: A Feminist Policy Analysis of Gaza’s Reconstruction Governance:

In our upcoming policy brief, WRC’s Humanitarian Futures Fellow, Asmaa Abumezied, engages in a rigorous feminist analysis of the Board of Peace plan for Gaza’s reconstruction and shares feminist priorities for the reconstruction of Gaza.

• June 25 (9:00-10:30am EST) – The Future of Protection for Refugee Women:

To mark World Refugee Day and the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention (which falls on July 28), WRC will host a dialogue with refugee women about the state and stakes of refugee protection. The webinar is open to all who register, and we will share an RSVP link next week.

• Late June / early July – From Frontlines to Frameworks: How Women-Led Organizations and Emergency Response Rooms Protect Women and Girls in Sudan:

In this policy brief, Hanin Ahmed, External Relations Officer for Sudan’s Emergency Response Rooms, shares case studies of how women-led organizations in Sudan are providing protection services for women and girls affected by conflict—and how their work has been impacted by escalating conflict and rapid humanitarian funding cuts.

• Mid-July – Do More with Less: Women-Led Organizations, Funding Cuts, and the Costs of Survival [working title]:

WRC is working with Refugees International on a joint report about how women-led organizations in six countries are experiencing and responding to the swift and severe contraction of the global humanitarian system in the wake of massive funding cuts.

Subscribe to our email list and follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, and LinkedIn) for updates about these important resources as well as for an RSVP link to the webinar. We hope that you will read, share, and join the conversation.
