Gender and Child Protection Policies: Where do UNHCR’s Partners Stand?

The Women’s Refugee Commission for Refugee Women and Children has been partnering with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, on its global rollout of age, gender and diversity mainstreaming (AGDM) since 2004. In recognition of the significant amount of work implemented by NGO partners for and with refugee/displaced populations, this study was undertaken to identify the existence of gender and child protection policies, as well as mainstreaming policies if any, amongst UNHCR’s major international and national NGO partners.
