Creating Communities of Welcome: Sponsoring Newcomers through P4CHNV

Please join Center for Democracy in the Americas (CDA), Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC), and Welcome.US in this joint webinar regarding humanitarian sponsorship programs recently announced by the U.S. government: Process for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (P4CHNV). Learn about how we can collectively respond in support of these newcomers seeking safety.

In both Spanish and English, the webinar will feature helpful information about the program and how to apply to be a sponsor through P4CHNV, walk through the Welcome Connect [link] platform, and offer tools and resources that can be used by sponsors to support newcomers. You will also hear from a current sponsor about their journey of welcome, followed by a Q&A session with the speakers where you can ask questions about the program and how to begin.
