Global Summit on Gender Equality in Nationality Laws

Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights Event FlyerThe Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights, housed at Women’s Refugee Commission, UNHCR, UNICEF, and UN Women are pleased to share this invitation for the Global Summit on Gender Equality in Nationality Laws, taking place June 13, 2023 from 14h-17h at the Ecumenical Center, Geneva. Reception to follow (17h-18h). The Global Summit is intended to heighten attention to the costs of gender discrimination in nationality laws and expedite action to achieve gender-equal rights across the globe, thereby advancing state commitments and global goals pertaining to: gender equality, children’s rights and wellbeing, sustainable development, and ending statelessness.

Please register to join us in person at the Ecumenical Center. Please note seating is limited and so attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
