280+ Organizations Urge the Biden Administration to Protect Haitian Asylum Seekers and Not Detain Them in Guantánamo Bay

The Women’s Refugee Commission joined 288 immigration, civil rights, human rights, and faith-based organizations in sending a letter to US President Joe Biden urging him to protect Haitian asylum seekers. In the letter, organizations urged the administration to not send Haitians seeking safety back to Haiti, third countries, or detain them in Guantánamo Bay.
