The Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) commits to strengthening the capacity of humanitarian actors, including GBV actors, to prevent and respond to gender-based violence against women and girls with disabilities in displacement settings by supporting effective implementation of the IASC Guidelines on the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action. We will pledge to do this in continued partnership with women-led organizations of persons with disabilities and with our partners in the Call to Action on Protection from Gender-based Violence in Emergencies.
