WRC Files FOIA Request to Uncover Treatment of Pregnant Women in CBP Custody
PublishedWRC filed a FOIA request to uncover information about the treatment of pregnant, postpartum, and lactating women, and their newborn infants, held in Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) facilities. We are especially concerned with the monitoring and treatment of these women and babies after CBP rescinded its policy limiting the amount of time they could be detained.
