Energy, Gender, and GBV in Emergencies: Global Learning Report and Case Studies

The Women’s Refugee Commission and Mercy Corps’ Energy in Emergencies: Reducing Risks of Gender-based Violence (EEMRG) project, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, aims to improve safety and opportunities for women and girls through inclusive access to energy in emergencies. The report and accompanying case studies on Energy, Gender and GBV in Emergencies incorporate input from refugees, humanitarian practitioners and market actors and lay the foundation for a forthcoming training program in close collaboration with Mercy Corps teams in Afghanistan, Jordan, and Uganda.
