Sian Hansen

Sian has held numerous positions in international banking in London and abroad. Her roles have included corporate finance, syndication in bond markets, equity research specializing in Emerging Markets and sales to UK and European institutions. Sian was formerly Head of Sales for Asian equities at Société Générale and prior to this, she was an equity analyst and broker with Enskilda Securities in Europe.

Sian is currently the Managing Director of Policy Exchange in London, the UK’s leading independent charitable think tank, which promotes research and discourse on public policy. She is also a Trustee of the Prospero World Trust, a grant giving body to charities all over the world.

Sian was recently appointed, as a non-executive director, to the board of Ludgate Environmental Fund, a closed investment trust listed on AIM market in the UK. Sian also currently provides a corporate governance proxy management service for fund investors.
