Liz holds graduate degrees from Yale University (PhD candidate, ABD; M.Phil and M.A.) and Cambridge University (M.Phil and M.A.).  

Liz is the author of numerous works on feminist philosophy and gender studies, including “Itinerant Antigone” in The Returns of Antigone (SUNY Press) and “Autochthonous Antigone” in Interrogating Antigone: From Philosophy to Performance (Oxford University Press). She has presented at a number of conferences, including Boston University, The Northeast Modern Language Association, DePaul University, Trinity College, University of Cambridge and the University of London.

Liz has served as departmental representative for the Graduate Student Assembly at Yale University, as well as co-chair of Newnhan College’s Women’s Speaker Series. At Yale she was a Teaching Fellow for an Introduction to Literary Theory and Shakespeare's Histories and Tragedies. She also taught Shakespeare for the Cambridge Preparatory Experience at Trinity Hall College.
