Madelyn Adamson serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of New York and the Board of the Hadassah Foundation, both grant-making foundations working to create and sustain social change for women and girls.  She is currently the Education, Advocacy and Outreach Committee chair for the Jewish Women’s Foundation, and has headed a number of other committees for them, including the Grants Committees, the Finance Committee, and a giving circle that addresses the global needs of some of the world’s most vulnerable women and girls.  Madelyn also is a Board member of Moving Traditions, a nationally recognized organization in teen Jewish education. 

Madelyn’s professional career was in the financial and investment world, first as a financial analyst and then as an investment management marketer, raising assets for money managers.  Madelyn has a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
