Josie Sentner

Josie Sentner has been a principal and executive in the private equity, buyout and venture capital industries. She started her career with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette, then moved to Gibbons Green & Rice, an early leveraged-buyout firms. She was a director of the Consumer Group of WR Grace and a partner of a buyout fund of Tweedy Browne Inc.

Josie also worked to develop private investments in Latin America and South Africa. She focused on advising women entrepreneurs and women investors.

During the last twelve years, Josie has been actively involved in the field of microfinance, and worked with Pro Mujer and Accion International. She is currently on the board of Fonkoze Financial Services, the largest microfinance company in Haiti.

Josie graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Economics.
