    Morgan Dixon joined the Women’s Refugee Commission in March 2016. As Senior Development Officer, she plays a key role in the organization’s institutional fundraising operations. Morgan supports the Executive Director to lead the organization’s grant operations,  identifies new business opportunities, develops fundraising strategies, and manages our institutional fundraising portfolio.

    Before joining the Women’s Refugee Commission, Morgan worked as development associate at The HOPE Program, where she managed gifts and grant operations and engaged financial support through cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual and institutional donors.

    With over eight years of experience in the international development and humanitarian field, she has supported various projects for The Hunger Project, Global Goods Partners, Village Health Works, and Innovations for Poverty Action through research, program support, and program monitoring and evaluation, working on assignment in Nepal, Burundi, and Ghana. Morgan has also worked domestically for the American Red Cross in Greater New York in the disaster planning and response unit.

    Morgan holds an MPA in International Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She received her Bachelor’s degrees in Ecologically Sustainable Development and Sociology from Beloit College.
