Sarah Knaster is the Coordinator for the Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG) on Reproductive Health in Crises. Prior to joining the IAWG in January 2013, she held positions with Doctors Without Borders and the Guttmacher Institute.

Sarah received an MPH with a specialization in Forced Migration from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in 2012. As a student she led a mixed-method family planning baseline study among Burmese refugees living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – part of a multi-country study led by the Women's Refugee Commission, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is based at the Women's Refugee Commission's New York office, which is currently hosting the IAWG secretariat.
